It was at least another days ride to reach the uphold of the coves inhabitants, and while Aden might have preferred to keep riding until dawn, his men were less inclined to do so. The captain had never been one for resting in the pitch-black nights that plagued Ponder Cove. It would only be a matter of time before Reinierd would get the same idea to approach the men of Ponder Cove to ask them to join him. Book of Dreams: Chapter 26Aine sat in the courtyard after a long debate with the council appointed by Aden, to help her rule the kingdom until, if at all, she chose to do it by herself. The weather was nice and warm, but she welcomed the slight breeze, after at least two hours of sitting in a stuffy room full of quarreling men. Aine could only half agree with Adens decision to put them together. They were all smart men, all with their own expertise, but she had come to understand that proud smart men trying to come to unanimous decisions were too proud to actually decide on anything.
