Book Of Dreams: Chapter 29It wasn’t until several days later that Aine realised that the nightmare she had had about Aden was as much a threat to him as it was to her. What had the hooded figure meant when he had said he had been stuck for three decades? Protecting a charge? Aine shuddered involuntarily as she made her way into the gardens, in hopes of finding some peace. The situation he had talked about seemed frighteningly similar to her own. Maybe asking Ellis if there had been another dreamknight before her time was the best way to go here.

Book of Dreams: Chapter 28Ponder Cove lay shrouded in a thick mist as Aden and his small party of riders began to settle down for the night. It was at least another day’s ride to reach the uphold of the cove’s inhabitants, and while Aden might have preferred to keep riding until dawn, his men were less inclined to do so. The captain had never been one for resting in the pitch-black nights that plagued Ponder Cove. Tall pine trees and the never wavering fog blocked out the moon and starlight almost completely.  
 
It had been five days since the day Aden had left Aine behind in Fallorn. The passage onto the mountains had been less forthcoming than h Book of Dreams: Chapter 28

Book of Dreams: Chapter 27"I will be back in a week, Everyone is to stay near the castle until my return." Alexander Aden said to his men, his voice calm and even. He had explained that he would take a small party up to Ponder Cove, to try and persuade them to make an alliance. He didn’t really want to go; he didn’t want to leave Aine behind, but leave he simply had to. It would only be a matter of time before Reinierd  would get the same idea to approach the men of Ponder Cove to ask them to join him. They could sway either way, and the captain knew he had to be there first.

Book of Dreams: Chapter 26Aine sat in the courtyard after a long debate with the council appointed by Aden, to help her rule the kingdom until, if at all, she chose to do it by herself. The weather was nice and warm, but she welcomed the slight breeze, after at least two hours of sitting in a stuffy room full of quarreling men. Aine could only half agree with Aden’s decision to put them together. They were all smart men, all with their own expertise, but she had come to understand that proud smart men trying to come to unanimous decisions were too proud to actually decide on anything. She had sat and listened to them, every now and again attempting to pitch her o Book of Dreams: Chapter 26
