As many of you know, I have a Wacom Cintiq 21UX. You know, one of those fancy screens on which you can draw? Well it's my baby.
I've had it for about 3 years now, and use of almost every day for many many hours. Things, with age, lose their quality. And over the years, my screen has gotten what Wacom calls 'cat hair scratches'. Nothing I wasn't expecting...
But, on occasion, the pen nibs that you use, get scraped, without you noticing as it is usually a gradual thing. This happened to me. While I replace the nibs often (cursing loudly while doing so as it is difficult), the one I was using up to now has developed a sharp edge. And I didn't notice because I was painting on and on etc etc.
But now, there are scratches that my pen actually catches on. I am so sad. My screen officially needs to be replaced as it's difficult to paint now, but replacing the part will cost me around 400 dollars to get done
I don't have a spare 400 dollars. What do I do, any tips or ideas?

Or you could sell yourself on craigslist haha
I have a friend who had a similar problem, but I'm not so sure, he has an Intuos3 tablet, and he mentioned something about replacing surface sheets, but I don't know if I can help XD My tablet's pretty ancient :I
I hope you get by with it all <3
It's just a luxury problem.
fff pampered tablets XD
maybe buying something used? as its cheaper.
1.rob a bank using a the pen in your pocket as a fake gun!
2.track down Netherlands richest man and hit him over the head with the tablet till he pays you to stop.
3.go into politics and promise a "Wacom in every house!"
4.seduce and marry one of the board members of the Wacom company, then in divorce ask for a new tablet and 400$
5.get the ocean's 11 guys to plan out a master caper involving a baboon, three hundred and forty two copies of moby dick, a pencil and drawing (made by you) of the Sistine chapel.
5.blackmail Leonardo decaprio and his friends to plant a memory into the mind of the air of the wacom foundation that his father loved him and that he should give out tablets for free in the future
